Handling & Storage Atap Dinding Plafon dengan Insulation

Installing sandwich panels requires careful
handling and precise execution.

Preparation :

Structural Integrity :Ensure the supporting structure (steel, concrete, or wood) is stable, level, and free of defects. Any deviations can lead to installation problems and leaks. Verify that the structure meets the design specifications and load-bearing requirements.

Tools and Materials: Gather the necessary tools: screwdrivers with depth limiters, drills, saws (circular or band saws for metal), sealing tapes, lifting equipment (cranes, forklifts), and safety gear. Have the correct fasteners (screws) designed for sandwich panel installation

Planning: Develop a detailed installation plan, including panel layout, cutting requirements, and fastening patterns. Familiarize yourself with the manufacturer’s instructions and technical documentation.

Materials : Please check with our sales people about good standard materials, usually with aluminiumzinc level 100-200, and insulation foam K21 Rigid Den-45 B2 Flame retardant

Handling & Storage :

Transportation: Transport panels in their original packaging, secured to prevent damage ( please ask for bubble and wood packing. Additional charge might be apply ). Use appropriate lifting equipment to avoid bending or denting the panels. Please check manual lifting instruction on above picture.

Storage: Store panels on a flat, dry surface, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Protect panel edges and corners from damage. If stored outdoors, cover the panels with weatherproof sheeting.

Installation :

First Panel Placement: The first panel is crucial for alignment. Position it accurately and securely. Use leveling tools to ensure vertical and horizontal alignment.

Fastening: Use the correct fasteners and follow the manufacturer’s recommended spacing. Drive screws perpendicular to the panel surface to prevent leaks. Avoid overtightening, which can damage the panel. Make sure to clean dirt after drilling/fastening, dirt may accelerate aging and rust faster.

Panel Joining: Carefully align and join subsequent panels, ensuring a tight and secure fit. Use sealing tapes or sealants at panel joints to prevent air and water infiltration. Preferably non-acid outdoor use sealant.

Cutting: If cutting is required, use appropriate tools to create clean, precise cuts. Remove any metal shavings or debris from the panel surface because it will cause rust faster

Sealing: Apply sealing compounds to all joints and around openings to ensure a weatherproof seal if necessary, please use non-acid outdoor-use sealant.

Finishing: Install any necessary flashing, trim, or other finishing elements. It is important to peel the plastic protection skin directly after installation.

Important Considerations:

Safety: Always wear appropriate safety gear, including gloves, eye protection, and safety harnesses. Follow safe lifting practices to prevent injuries.

Weather Conditions: Avoid installing panels in high winds or heavy rain.
